Live chat with Dr. Brian Goldman

As interactive producers for CBC Radio, Scott Johnson and I also run CBC Radio’s Facebook and Twitter. It’s been great getting to know our fans and finding out more about what they like and dislike. Of course, we’ve enjoyed watching our networks grow, and recently we were discussing what we would do once we reached 10,000 fans on Facebook and 25,000 followers on Twitter.

We wanted to thank fans with something we thought they would really appreciate. We floated the idea of a live chat with one of our hosts, and the response was tremendous. We got requests to chat with almost all of our hosts, but Dr. Brian’s name kept coming up! This isn’t surprising considering the loyal following Dr. Brian has online because he does such a great job keeping people up to date on the latest in his profession on Twitter and has lots of experience fielding listener questions with his Ask Doctor Brian show. If this chat goes well, we’d like to hold others with other CBC Radio hosts.

So, join us on Thursday, September 8 at 1 p.m. ET for a live chat with Dr. Brian Goldman, host of White Coat, Black Art. He’ll give us a sneak peak into the show’s exciting new season and take audience questions. We want to hear from you. We’ll also chat about what’s coming up this season on Radio One.

As a retired RN I especially enjoy this program and find myself often wishing to contribute to the subject at hand. Wondering if Dr Brian is currently practicing or is kept busy with CBC and writing his books?
