French Services Ombudsman will be leaving her post

After four years as the Ombudsman for French Services, Julie Miville-Dechêne will be leaving her post on July 31. In addition to fulfilling the role of the Ombudsman, Julie also focused her efforts on educating fellow journalists and the public on the importance of having a journalistic standards ‘watchdog’.

In Julie’s last blog post as Radio-Canada’s Ombudsman, she thanks listeners and viewers for offering their insight and engaging in constructive dialogue. You can also read an interview by Sophie Bernard-Piche with both English and French Services Ombudsmen and how they use social media to connect with Canadians.
