Rendez-Vous

Espace musique and CBC Radio 2 have joined forces to present Rendez-Vous, a cross-cultural radio and web based project that turns the spotlight on three French-speaking and three English-speaking artists. There is a twist. The Francophones present their favourite English-language artists, while the Anglophones introduce us to their favourite French-language performer.

Rendez-vous was developed and produced by Guylaine Picard (Espace musique) and Sophie Laurent (CBC Radio 2). It’s an excellent example of breaking down language barriers and celebrating music, culture and art in one eclectic series. You can have a sneak peak below.
