Citizenship: Inside and Out

Citizenship: Inside and Out

We’ve just published CBC/Radio-Canada’s new social responsibility and public value website, and we hope you’ll spend some time with us there.  Citizenship: Inside and Out details some of the activities that we do every day to complement our broadcasting services.

As most people know, social responsibility and public value are aspects of the ethics that a company employs in the course of doing business.  Increasingly, and rightfully, consumers expect companies to practice good corporate citizenship.  At CBC/Radio-Canada, we’ve been doing that for 75 years, and public value is very much at the heart of our strategy, 2015: Everyone, Every way.  Now, we have a website to talk about it.

On this site, you’ll find stories that relate to the public value we bring to communities and the country beyond our broadcasting services, the efforts we make with respect to protecting the environment, and how we work to improve the lives of the people who work here so that they can do their best to serve you.

Take a look, and let us know through the site’s Feedback function, or the Comments section below, what kinds of stories and what types of public value activities interest you most.

Happy reading!
